Other job platforms also have an “About” section that consists of specifics of the applicant’s expectations, including roles and responsibilities and relevant skills that the candidate needs to possess.

You can copy the job description to the clipboard if you fit the bill.

Next, curate the prompt for ChatGPT. All AI chatbots work on prompts, as it’s their way of understanding exactly what you’re looking for. The best results lie in perfectly written prompts. 

The best way to write a prompt is first to provide some information about yourself, such as your experience, qualifications, aspirations, skills, hobbies, and more. Then, paste the job description and mention in one or two sentences why you’re perfect for the given role.

Another reason keywords are important is that certain companies use applicant tracking systems (ATS) to streamline the hiring process. These systems are designed to analyze resumes and cover letters to identify relevant applications. They look for specific keywords; if the cover letter doesn’t have them, they are robotically weeded out.
